Guangzhou Asian Game flame reaches Huizhou

The 16th Asian Games flame continued its tour in Guangdong Province as 80 torchbearers participated in the Torch Relay in Huizhou on Tuesday.

?Huang Yebin (right), Secretary of the Huizhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, hands the torch to the first torchbearer Han Chaoming, a former Asian champion sprinter.

?Huizhou residents welcome the Asian Games flame.

Huizhou is home to a large number of Hakka people who represent a significant cultural community in the region.

Weiqi master Gu Li and famous basketball player Wang Zhizhi - the first Chinese playing in NBA - were among the torchbearers.

On Wednesday, the Torch Relay will be held in Asian Games co-host city Shanwei.
