China broke the women's 4x200 meters freestyle relay short course world record at FINA World Short Course Championships on Wednesday.
The quartet of Chen Qian, Tang Yi, Liu Jing and Zhu Qianwei stormed to victory in a time of 7:35.94 to cut a massive three seconds off the previous mark set by the Netherlands at the last edition in Manchester two years ago.
Australia won silver while France took the bronze.
