The Guangzhou Asian Para Games Organising Committee (GAPGOC) held a press conference on Tuesday and announced "陽光起航" ("Yangguang Qihang", which means set sail in the sunshine) as the theme song for the Games.

The song's lyrics writer is Li Jinfeng and music composer is Guo Jingyuan.
The selection of the theme song for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Para Games went through three rounds. On November 22, officials and experts gathered in Guangzhou for an evaluation meeting to select the theme song from three shortlists and "Yangguang Qihang" won the most votes.
The Asian Para Games will open on December 12 and close on December 19.
