This book was jointly written by China's famous soccer commentator Li Chengpeng, Soccer News chief editor Liu Xiaoxin and senior reporter Wu Celi. The authors interviewed about 130 relevant people in a bid to uncover the match-fixing and corruption scandals in China's professional soccer league. While China launched a huge crackdown against match-fixing and corruption in the sport which was has seen senior officials, coaches, players and referees arrested or detained, the book hit the headlines again as several people mentioned in it have threatened to sue the authors.
