Twenty-two home-based players and 13 foreign-based, including 10 members of the 23-man squad to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, were on Wednesday in Abuja invited to the Super Eagles camp.

The 35 players were invited to camp by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for next month's international friendly match against South Korea in Seoul.

The international friendly match is scheduled for the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Aug. 11.

Spokesman for the federation Ademola Olajire said the home-based players were expected to arrive at the team's camp at the Summit Hotel in Abuja, on Friday.

"It is expected that many of the foreign-based players will join up with the team at a location abroad, but the team camp will meanwhile open with the home-based players on Friday in Abuja," he said in a statement reaching here.

Olajire listed the invited foreign-based players to include Kalu Uche, who scored two goals at the World Cup finals in South Africa, and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

Midfielders Dickson Etuhu and Haruna Lukman, as well as forwards Osaze Odemwingie, Obinna Nsofor and Obafemi Martins made the list alongside defenders Danny Shittu, Dele Adeleye and Elderson Echiejile.

Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi and Eagles' joint top scorer in the 2010 World Cup qualifying race, Ikechukwu Uche, as well as forward Joseph Akpala are also on the list.

The trio is making a return to the fold after missing the cut for the World Cup finals.

Goalkeeper Bassey Akpan led the line of home-based players with defender Terna Suswam, midfielders Gabriel Reuben and Solomon Okpako and striker Ahmed Musa.

Others are Gbolahan Salami, King Osanga, Eugene Salami, Valentine Nwabili, Promise Onuh, Uche Nwofor, Moses Bunde, Nnaemeka Anyanwu, Emmanuel Anyanwu, Chidiebere Okoli and John Owoeri.

The rest are Taiwo Hassan, Chigozie Agbim, Femi Balogun, Ugwu Uwadiegu, Suleiman Ismaila and Fengor Ogude.

The match, apart from being the first game involving the Eagles since their last match at the World Cup finals on June 22, will also be the second meeting between the two sides in two months.

Both Nigeria and South Korea had drawn 2-2 in their final Group B match, played on June 22 in Durban.

The result pushed the Asians into the competition's second round, but sent the Nigerians out of the competition.
