Italian Ricco Riccardo shrugged off injury scare to win Tour of Austria on 27 hours 35 minutes and 30 seconds on Sunday.

Although Riccardo was injured in an accident in the 7th stage one day earlier, the 26-year-old Italian still maintained his momentum in Sunday's final stage before claiming the victory.

It is also the third time for him to win the Tour of Austria.

Spanish rider Pardilla Sergio was second with 38 seconds behind while Italian Sella Emanuele finished third with 27:37:19.

About 180 riders from 18 teams around the world participated in the Tour of Austria

Tour of Austria, which started in 1948, was the longest cycling race held in Austria.
