Domenech's 23-man World Cup squad is ultimate

France head coach Raymond Domenech has announced Monday that the 23-player squad he called up for training at the French Alpine resort of Tignes will be ultimate for next month's World Cup.
"We are keeping faith with the 23 who are here, because over the past week they have proved how tough they are and that they want to go far," Domenech said on the French federation website Monday night.
"That's why we have put an end to the suspense. We know we have until June 1 the squads are definite, but for us the 23 are right here," he added.
There had been speculation that Domenech could call up another midfielder after losing Lassana Diarra to a genetic red-blood cell disorder.
