Injured Rooney to skip Man United match against Blackburn

Wayne Rooney will be absent from Manchester United's Premier League match against Blackburn on Sunday because of his ankle injury.
Rooney limped out of Wednesday's Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich in the 55th minute after aggravating the ankle problem he sustained eight days earlier.
The England striker's ankle ligaments were damaged when the Red Devils lost to Munich 2-1 in the first leg. He also missed their Premier League loss to Chelsea before returning for the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
