LeBron James won a multi-year sponsorship from McDonald, the global fast-food giant, but the financial terms were not immediately available on the deal.

James will support several McDonald's programs and promotions as well as Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides housing to the families of seriously ill children.

He has already filmed his first commercial with McDonald's. It will debut during the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.

James, a six-time All-Star with the Cleveland Cavaliers, has other partnerships with Nike, State Farm and Coca-Cola.
