Mark Selby stunned defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan?in London?on Sunday as the runner-up of last year came back from 6-9 behind to win the Wembley Masters Snooker final 10-9.

As the nine-time finalist at the most prestigious invitation event, O'Sullivan led the afternoon session in 5-3 before extended his advantage to 9-6 in the evening session.

But the 26-year-old Selby astonishingly equaled the tie by taking four frames in a row.

In the deciding frame, Selby sealed his lead at 65-0 with snookers while O'Sullivan chose to give up as there are not enough points on the table.

"That's the best final I've ever been in," Selby told the TV interviewer on spot. "The atmosphere is great when Ronnie O'Sullivan plays. I just dug in and thought I would just scrap it out. I love the atmosphere and seem to thrive on it. Hopefully this will kick-start my season."

The two players contributed five centuries together and finished with nine more breaks over 50 points.

Selby won the event in his debut at Wembley in 2008 and only lost to O'Sullivan?in London?last year.
