Liu Jing of China beat a strong challenge from Japanese Tomoyo Fukuda to win the women's 200m individual medley at the East Asian Games on Monday.
Liu outsprint Fukuda by 0.05 second for the gold at 2:12.10.
Fukuda was timed at 2:12.15, followed by South Korean Kim Seoyeong in the third place at 2:13.65.
