FIFA concerned about 'blind spots' in Brazil's stadiums
Adjust font size:

World soccer governing body FIFA on Friday started inspection of Brazil's preparation for the 2014 World Cup and expressed concerned about many "blind spots" in Sao Paulo's Morumbi stadium.

Fans on those spots could not have a full view of the field. FIFA said that it would not divulge all the details until the end of the inspection in the country.

So far, it is not clear how many blind spots there are or where they are located. But the Morumbi stadium will certainly need a make over to pass future inspection.

The FIFA inspection team will spend eight days in Brazil, traveling to all the 17 candidate cities.
