Introduction
Brett Anderson is the founder and lead singer of British band
Suede. Suede were one of the legendary British bands during the
90's Britpop movement though their music was always somewhat richer
and more intimate than their contemporaries. Albums like
Suede, Dog Man Star, and Coming Up are
examples of all that was wonderful about British music in the 90's.
All these releases have been certified multi-platinum and won them
countless awards. This will be Brett's second visit to China
following Suede's appearance in 2002. As the Beijing Pop Festival's
only UK act this year, we are honoured to welcome Brett back to
Beijing. His show will feature a mix of Suede material and solo
material from this year's well received self-titled album. The
Beijing Pop Festival received many calls and emails throughout the
year asking for the opportunity to see Brett live and hear Suede
classics- the BPF wasn't around in 2002 so we are just as excited
as all of you for this opportunity!
