Editor's note: The fifth Ming Dynasty Cultural Festival was held during the Qingming Festival holiday from April 4-6 at the Ming Tombs (Shisanling) in the north of Beijing. The event featured an imperial sacrificial ceremony reenactment, historical drama about the Ming emperors, hanfu contest and traditional etiquette performances.
