Passengers 'time travel' on Beijing Subway

On Aug. 8, the Beijing Subway commenced trial operation of a "time travel" train on Line 1, running from Gucheng to Fuxingmen stations. The train consisted of six carriages, each representing a different decade from the 1960s to the 2020s. Through stickers and fixtures, the train recreates the appearance of typical train models from each era. This marks the Beijing Subway's first attempt to provide passengers with an immersive "time travel" riding experience.
