The Chengdu Universiade Village serves as both a living and training space for athletes and a prominent platform for cultural exchange. Every day during the Games, the village hosts a variety of traditional cultural activities. These include shadow puppetry, rope weaving, kite making, paper cutting, Shu embroidery, Chinese opera face painting, calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting.
