J-31 Country of origin: China Manufacturer: AVIC Shenyang Aircraft Corporation The J-31 is a twin-engine, mid-size fifth-generation jet fighter currently under development. Some military observers predict its variant may be used on aircraft carriers. The J-31 completed its first flight in 2012, but there is as of yet no specific timeframe for when it will enter service.
