Pedro Chan, an overseas Chinese leader in Los Angeles of the United States, donated more than 1,100 Flying Tigers relics to the city of Kunming on Tuesday. He and some Chinese American Flying Tigers veterans and their relatives attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Flying Tigers relics in Kunming. Flying Tigers, also known as the American Volunteer Group, were a group of American and Chinese pilots serving in the Chinese Air Force who fought against Japanese invading troops during World War II.
