Children dressed to represent the 56 Chinese ethnic minorities watch as the national flag is hoisted along with the national anthem. It is a proud moment for China. Thanks to the Olympics, where everyone can eye China under a microscope and learn about this great culture and country. And maybe through the games people can change their wrong perceptions about China. When the military band played the national anthem, I stood up and to my surprise, my eye started to water. At that moment, I couldn't be more proud to be a Chinese.
