January 2, 2008. The artwork, measuring 3.7 by 3.1 meters, utilizes
28,000 painted artificial nails to create a mosaic of sporting
stars and the Beijing Olympic logo and mascots. The year 2008 is
being celebrated as an Olympic year in China as the country is set
to host the sporting gala for the first time this summer.
