It is an interesting coincidence that Mexico and China are both
Olympic countries. Mexico held the Olympic Games in 1968. I have
witnessed the excellent job that Beijing has done preparing for the
Olympics.
I am very happy to reveal that a Mexican architectural team has
participated in the design of the Beijing Olympic stadiums.
Although their design was not chosen, the design has been widely
discussed and the BOCOG paid much attention to the team. This has
already been a great honor for us.
