?The Uruguay national cycling team coach Enrique Erramuspe believes Milton Ariel Wynants can take at least a medal in the men's point race at the upcoming Olympic Games.
"Even he is 36 years old now, I think he is still in a good form and has the ability to win a medal in Beijing," Erramuspe told Xinhua on Sunday after a training course at the Lao Shan Velodrome.
According to Erramuspe, Wynants is the only cyclist of Uruguay team and he won the silver medal in the men's point race at his second Olympic appearance, in Sydney in 2000.
"He started riding a bike when he was just 14 years old. He is a very talented cyclist and has won several gold medals in international competitions, but he did not do well in Athens four years ago, only got the 9th place. This is his fourth Olympic Games," Erramuspe said.
Wynants will have his training course for two to three hours each day before the Games.
"I made an Olympic training schedule for him, and he did well until now. The facilities here are very good, which keeps us both in a good spirit," added Erramuspe.
Before coming to Beijing, Wynants had been trained for almost one month at the International Cycling Union Center in Switzerland.
