Angolan women's basketball team on Tuesday defeated Argentina 59-58 in Madrid, Spain in a qualifier for 2008 Olympic Games.
By half time, the Angolan team coached by Raul Duarte was leading by 33-30.
On Wednesday, the Angolan team is to play the Czech Republic for the second round of the pre-Olympic tournament. Besides Angola, the African continent is also being represented by Senegal.
