He, secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, told BAI Chairman Kim Hwangsik that the CPC and the Chinese government value anti-corruption work, and pay attention to both punishment and prevention.
With joint efforts of the CPC and the Chinese people, the country had made tangible achievements in anti-graft efforts, which played an important role in boosting the country's economic development and safeguarding social justice, he said.
Kim Hwangsik said the BAI hopes to increase exchanges with its Chinese counterpart.
He briefed the guests on measures taken by China in response to the global downturn.
