Uyunqimg, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met with a Norwegian parliamentary delegation on Monday .
Hailing the development of Sino-Norwegian relationship, Uyunqimg told Olav Gunnar Ballo, vice president of the Odelsting (Lower House) of the Norwegian Parliament, that China valued the traditional friendship with the north European country.
China was ready to work with Norway to increase dialogue and cooperation to push forward friendly relations, she noted.
Ballo and his delegation arrived here earlier Monday for an eight-day goodwill visit at the invitation of the NPC Standing Committee.
