A reception was held in Beijing Monday to mark the 46th
anniversary of the signing of a friendship treaty between China and
North Korea.
President of China-North Korea Friendship Association Li
Shuzheng and North Korean Ambassador to China Choe Jin-su addressed
the reception.
The two sides hailed the friendship of the two countries since
the treaty, namely, Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual
Assistance between China and North Korea, was signed 46 years
ago.
Some 80 people from Chinese Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry,
Chinese People's Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries
and North Korean Embassy in Beijing attended the reception.
