China values its friendly relations and cooperation with Ecuador
and is willing to make further efforts to deepen the bilateral
relations, said a senior Chinese official in Beijing Wednesday.
He Luli, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of Chinese
National People's Congress (NPC), said it is in the fundamental and
long-term interest of the two peoples in strengthening
China-Ecuador exchanges and cooperation when she met with visiting
Ecuadorian Minister of Defense Oswaldo Jarrin
She also briefed the guests on China's domestic development and
the annual sessions of the NPC, China's top legislature, and the
National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative
Conference, the country's top advisory body, which were held in
early March.
Jarrin said the Ecuadorian side highly values the bilateral
relations with China, and hopes two-way cooperation can be expanded
into more areas.
