South Korea recorded its third H1N1 flu death on Thursday, a government health agency said.

An elderly man who had been hospitalized Monday with pneumonia-like symptoms and was confirmed to have the H1N1 virus died Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Welfare said.

The death was the third in South Korea. The first was reported on Aug.15 and the second three days later.

South Korea has reported more than 3,300 cases of the H1N1 flu.
