Renowned hair stylist Franck Provost, the founder of Paris-based luxury hair salon in his name, designs new hair styles in every season.
'The hair trend for the upcoming season will be all types of more layering hair lengths. You'll see women with more obvious layering to make the cut look outstanding and different.
'Plus, creative fringe cutting is the next most 'in' thing to match the new trend in more layering.'
Women who want to keep their hair long should know the new trend is for lighter volume on top.
Whether hair is long and straight, or long and curly, the aim is to give an impression of thick, volumized hair, Provost said.
For the catwalk, there will be two different 'hit' trends - one is neat, element and feminine, the other is big curly locks - curls are back.
In addition to a trendy hair style, the latest hair color trends can update your style and give you a fashion edge.
'The trendy colors for fashionistas to choose are black, gray, maroon and purple. Therefore, the hair colors that work well are dark brown, maroon and caramel. These three colors will look absolutely gorgeous on Asian women,' Provost said.
Nevertheless, blonde color is still the most popular for the European market. Provost has launched an exclusive hair color technique called 'Balayage 2 Ors' creating natural-looking blonde and silky hair with highlights.
Provost said Chinese women are less adventurous, colorwise, compared with others.
Chinese prefer silky smooth black colors, whereas in the Japanese culture, the younger generation is more 'daring,' playing around with colors to stand out from others.
It is the same in Europe, where women love to try different colors, ranging from very light blonde to darker blonde, or even light red to maroon.
