The father of a young man who died from the H5N1 strain of bird
flu in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, early this month has recovered
and left hospital, the provincial health authorities said on
Wednesday.
The 52-year-old man, surnamed Lu, is in good health. Lu was
diagnosed with H5N1 virus four days after his son's death, the
second case in Nanjing. The 24-year-old son died of the virus on
December 3.
