A senior Chinese official stressed Monday the study of three newly-issued disciplinary regulations to prevent and fight against corruption.
The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee made public Sunday three regulations to promote officials' accountability and state-owned enterprise leaders' integrity, and strengthen inspection inside the Party, aiming to curb corruption and improve government competence.
"Government and party organizations at all levels should regard the study of the three regulations as an important political mission for the anti-corruption work," said He Yong, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, during a meeting for discipline officials.
He, also deputy head of the CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), stressed that the three regulations were the "necessary steps" taken by the Party to curb corruption and should be studied with a "scientific and careful" attitude.
He Quoqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau, attended the meeting.
