The second phase of fifth-round six-party talks on the Korean
Peninsula nuclear issue resumes at the
Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing December 18, 2006. "The talks
are of vital importance that bridge the past and the future,"
China's chief negotiator Wu Dawei said at the opening
ceremony.
