The transport aviation unit[China Pictorial]

With transports as the basic equipment, their main tasks are to guarantee military air mobility and airborne operations; carry out air ambulance, supply, communications and reconnaissance; and provide support behind enemy lines. In times of peace, the transport aviation unit may also be responsible for civil air transport, disaster relief, emergency supply delivery and other tasks.
