A total of 14 arms from four services of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) are to participate in China's National Day military parade on Thursday morning.

-- Army

The PLA Army has 20 phalanxes in the parade, which are composed of soldiers from seven arms of services including artillery, armored force, air defense force, special forces, signal corps, infantry and aviation corps.

-- Navy

The Navy has eight phalanxes consisting of soldiers from four arms of services, including surface ship, coastal defense, marine aviation and Marine Corps.

-- Air Force

Four arms of services from the PLA Air Force are to participate in the military parade, including ground air defense, airborne, radar and aviation. They form 16 phalanxes.

-- The Second Artillery Force

The Second Artillery Force, China's core force for strategic deterrence, has six phalanxes in the parade.
