Six babies were born into the families of golden monkeys living in the Shennongjia Nature Reserve in central China’s Hubei Province in spring this year. The management department of the nature reserve has been canvassing names for the six lovely baby monkeys from the public since May 11.

Of the newborns, five were born in the Big Longtan Base and one in Small Longtan Base. So far the cubs have been growing well and the number of golden monkeys on the nature reserve has reached more than 1300, said a local research fellow.
