The three-day meeting from July 23 to 25 will be the first of its kind hosted by Myanmar and it will mainly focus on organic- chemical- compound-related Stockholm convention, cross-border transport and piling of dangerous disposed waste convention and convention on climate changes of the United Nations, the sources said.

Meanwhile, a forestry-related ASEAN senior officials' meeting, which was the 12th, was held in the new capital last month, covering ASEAN pharmacists conference, ASEAN forestry products research and development-related experts conference, seminar on international forestry issues and ASEAN senior forestry officials conference.
