"Yes, I'm married, and heaven has endowed us with a baby," said
actress Yvonne Yung on Sunday.
The star, who is best known for her infamous performances in
Category III films. Was last week spotted with a pregnant
belly in a kid ware shop in Shanghai, photos released by the media
caused a flutter of speculation.
Rumours had it she was expecting the child out of wedlock.
The troubled star finally broke her silence and called a small
media conference on Sunday to speak about her marriage, hoping the
revelation would stop the media hurting her family with more fake
stories.
"I'm now in the kind of marriage that I'm really after," the
five-month pregnant star said. Obviously she has stepped out of the
haze from her divorce two years ago.
"I want to clarify that I have wed. My husband is an
American-born Chinese working in the fitness business. And we are
expecting a baby. All these things are understandable, logical and
legal," said Yvonne Yung.
"I suffered from the ridiculous headlines saying Yvonne Yung
Admits Pregnancy out of Wedlock on the internet," she
added.
Yvonne Yung also revealed that she's writing a book, and hopes
readers will learn more about her through her own words. "It is
inspired by my husband. He gives me the power of love."
