Colorful Fantasy
Show featuring the Chinese Minority Singing and Dancing Troupe, which is renowned for its excellent artists from different minorities from China. Ballet star Yang Li Ping is famous for her 'peacock dance'. Tenor Jiang Da Wei will present his classic folk song Fifty-Six Minorities Sing the Same Song. Mongolians De De Ma and Teng Ge Er will sing their unique songs Haven and Horseherd. The program also includes classic folk music and dancing. Call 8766 9869, 8766 8978 for further details. Clarinet and Trombone Concerto
Tu Song is blessed with musical genius running in his family (so be happy you don't live below their apartment) and once apprenticed to renowned clarinet performers Harold Wright and John Bruce Yeh. He is a versatile musician with rich experience in performing in world famous concert halls and in international music festivals. He will perform as the principal clarinettist of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. He will blow you away as he blows out the 1st Clarinet Concerto (#73) in F minor and Ferdinand David's Falling in E-major. The trombone concerto will feature principal trombonist Guo Zheng. Vocal Concert: Twins
Local Hong Kong pop fans are all aflutter over the arrival of Hong Kong pop idols, Twins. Just a year ago and none too soon, Twins burst their pimples and erupted onto the pop scene reviving the tradition of heartthrob harmonies with darling very spontaneous dancing. It only took them six months to create their own typhoon in Hong Kong and storm to the top of the pops followed closely by a tidal wave of copycat bands. See the real one (er two) and only live - at least this month's version. RMB 100, 250, 380, (which may be changed later)

Contemporary Dance
Contemporary dance performance by Guangdong Experimental Contemporary Dance Theatre in collaboration with innovative British choreographer, Matthew Hawkins. Matthew won the Jerwood Choreography Award in 2001, an Arts Council of England Dance Fellowship in 2002, and the Chris de Marigny Dance Writer's Award in 2001. Maybe you can get him to scratch your fa piaos. Ticket prices not confirmed at the time of publication.
