Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways announced Tuesday that it will operate daily services to both Delhi and Mumbai for a designated period.
The airline will operate a daily service to Delhi and Mumbai from Dec. 1, 2005 through Jan. 31, 2006. Cathay Pacific currently operates four flights a week to both cities.
Cathay Pacific's current Mumbai services operate via Bangkok and continue onwards to Dubai. All of the three additional services will stop in Bangkok, yet only one will continue to Dubai. The other two will turn around in Mumbai. All Delhi services will operate non-stop.
Cathay Pacific Director Corporate Development Augustus Tang said that daily services to Delhi and Mumbai will offer passengers far greater choice and convenience over the holiday peak.
Cathay Pacific's willingness and ability to add services shows the airline's prompt agility to meet demand on these popular routes and further strengthen connectivity, added Tang.
