Beijing's Subway Line 2, or the loop line, was closed down for half an hour at the Dongzhimen station last evening during the off work peak due to a suspicious black bag.
Police arrived at the scene to inspect the bag and the emergency prevention system was initiated in the station.
Dongzhimen station reopened at around 6 pm and the train ran normally during the inspection.
The result of the inspection has not yet been released.
