The first China's top ten scientific achievements in construction had been announced recently.
The ten achievements are: Launch site for the Shenzhou V spaceship, Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge, model of urban sewage recycle, No. 2 lline of the Guangzhou Subway, building of the Design Center of the Tsinghua University, Shanghai Lupu Bridge, Qinling Mountain railway tunnel for the Ankang Railway, Xi'an, intelligent ecological energy conservation system for exterior wall of large buildings, comprehensive protection project for the West Lake, Changji residence project, Xinjin.
Under the guidance of the Science and Technology Department of Ministry of Construction, the evaluation of the top ten achievements is carried out by an appraisal committee, which is made up of experts with the Ministry of Construction. Ten projects has one thing in common: high science and technology content.
