The 5th Annual 3G Mobile International Summit opened Tuesday in Beijing.
Chinese government communication and technological departments, company executives from China Telecom and China Unicom as well as executives from world mobile giants like Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson are participating in the two-day summit on new generation mobile phones.
The two-day event will also host an exhibition of advanced 3G products from Nokia, Siemens and Nortel Networks.
This is the first time such an exhibition has been included in the summit.
