The orbital module of China's Shenzhou V spacecraft has been flying for 100 days and will have circled the Earth 1,600 times Saturday.
The orbital module is an important part of Shenzhou V, China's first manned space flight.
Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center has made five successful readjustments to help maintain orbit since its launch in middle October last year.
A senior engineer from the space center said they grasped a series of key techniques that ensure the module will remain in orbit for sometime.
The orbit module has carried out experiments including space environment monitoring and space orientation, and obtained a large number of valuable data. Technicians are now analyzing and processing the data.
