An earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale jolted central Chile Friday night, the State Seismological Bureau of China said Friday night.
The tremor took place at 21:30 Beijing time at 30.4 degrees latitude south and 72.0 degrees longitude west, the coast of central Chile, the State Seismological Bureau of China said in a brief press release.
