China's high-tech products export jumped 36.6 percent to US$35.77 billion in the first two months of 2006, the China Securities Journal quoted statistics from the Ministry of Commerce as saying Wednesday.
It is the first time China's high-tech exports made up 30 percent of the country's total exports, it said.
In January and February, China exported cell phones worth US$3.98 billion and cell phone parts worth US$1.96 billion, jumping 69.5 percent and 80.6 percent respectively year on year, it said.
In January and February, China exported laptop computers worth US$4.63 billion, up 28.7 percent year on year.
China also witnessed soaring exports of LCD televisions, aviation and space-technology products and photoelectric products.
