The first China Changchun Optoelectronic Exposition kicked off Tuesday in this capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, with some 600 exhibitors from home and abroad attending.
The exposition, with theme "Light of Science Leads the Future" is being organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the provincial government of Jilin and the municipal government of Changchun.
In an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, exhibitors including such big names as Coherent and Olympus will display laser and laser technological devices, optic communication components and optoelectronic instruments.
An optic industry achievements exhibition will be held simultaneously, showcasing Chinese optic glass, large transit instrument and electronic microscope products.
