The Institute of Air Force Armament of the Chinese military and prestigious Tsinghua University signed an agreement Wednesday to begin cooperation in research and training of professionals.
The institute is a newly-established military research body and Tsinghua is a top higher learning and research institution in the country.
Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in information technology, research and development of military equipment, high technologies, and fostering of talents.
The agreement is expected to help the development of the country's air force equipment and the research capabilities of Tsinghua.
