Shanghai yesterday began to select medal presenters for the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Forty female presenters will be chosen from 10 local universities including Fudan, Jiao Tong and the Shanghai Theater Academy China.
Three rounds of competition will be held within a month.
Candidates must be aged between 18 and 25 and be between 168 and 178 centimeters tall, according to a Xinmin Evening News report.
The criteria included strict requirements for temperament, body and skin, according to the report. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games will select 380 medal presenters from Beijing and Shanghai, the report said.
