The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) members started the second phase of their joint anti-terror military drill in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Monday.
The exercise consists of two phases, with the first phase in Kazakhstan and the second phase in China.
Coalition forces will conduct a simulated fight against terrorists and rescue hostages during the second phase, sources said.
