Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar's just-concluded visit to China has advanced the good-neighborly partnership of mutual trust between the two countries, a Mongolian official said in Ulan Bator Monday.
Damdin Tsogtbaatar, a foreign policy advisor for Enkhbayar, told a press conference that it was the newly-elected president's first state visit to a foreign country.
During the visit, President Enkhbayar held talks with Chinese leaders and mutual understanding between the two sides was deepened, Tsogtbaatar said.
"The visit also strengthened cooperation in the fields of the economy and trade," added Tsogtbaatar. "A business delegation of more than 50 Mongolian enterprises accompanied the president. They held talks with Chinese counterparts in Shanghai and signed some agreements of cooperation."
Enkhbayar's state visit to China lasted from November 27 to December 3. China was the president's first foreign destination since he took office in June this year.
